the contental breakfast was cheapan not good no fruit had to make our own coffee little begales that you had to use metal tonges to get them out of the toster(metal tonges, electric toster not good ) won't go back to that one again
It was not worth the money I paid for 1 night. I booked a kind size bed, but got put in a room with 2 double beds. There was not much room for my wife and I to move.
Very little; what a rip-off. I've had smaller rooms. I've had more uncomfortable beds. The tv worked.
$146 for this dump of a room that should have cost $40. There were cobwebs with spider eggs clearly visible in the corner of the room by the light, and the fire alarm was hanging loose from the ceiling by its wires. There were paint splotches on the wall. The bathroom was smaller than a closet and had no fan. There was no mini fridge or any other amenities, and no coffee cups or stirrers next to the little coffee pot in the room. When we went for our Continential breakfast, there was no juice of any kind, only cereal with no milk, a container of mini-bagels and dry muffins and an open container of jam on a dirty counter. That's right, nothing else. I had to park far from my room despite having a handicap. The walls were cheap plaster; I could hear the people above us like they were in the room with us. The ac shut off and turned on every few minutes, making it very hard to sleep with it on. Had I complained, the old man that checked us in likely wouldn't have understood a word. This place had no amenities and nothing whatsoever to recommend it. Ridiculously, offensively over-priced. Had it cost $80 (that's the $40 it was worth, doubled because it was in touristy Estes Park) it would have been merely poor. But this was an outright rip-off.
no coffee at the continental breakfast, what they did have was very poor quality. My wife and I will camp in a tent before we stay there again.
The hotel is close to down town Estes which was a positive.
My wife and I were disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. We were supposed to have a mountain view which we did not. There is no continental breakfast as advertised.
The patio outside the room was a nice feature. It was clean.
Coffee pot, but had to seek out coffee packets in the morning. Breakfast was bad, rolls and cereal. Not much to choose from.
We were awoke by elk bugles at 0630 and found a heard litterally right outside our door!
The breakfast needs much approvement and focus. The spread was minimal, showing very little thought and effort.
The towels smelled musty. Their were things broken in the room.
The location to downtown Estes Park is good. The bed was comfortable.
We did not like that the bathroom was not clean when we arrived. We found hair on the floor. We called the front desk to complain and they sent someone to clean right away. However, she did not even turn on the water to clean. She used a bottle of spray and a dry rag. We did not feel too comfortable with the overall cleanliness. From the hotel pictures we thought the room would have a refrigerator, but it did not. Also the ice machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Not to mention that the breakfast was basically nonexistent. For a decent breakfast we had to go out to a restaurant.
The location is withing a short driving distance to the Estae village center
Rooms are old and outdated, the air freshner did not cover up the smell of old furnature and the trace of smoke maybe from years of smoking in the room. The breakfast is a joke. The message is it's complementary, take it or leave it. Lobby area is dark and very unwelcoming. The owner spent the absulout minimum to keep up the place. Will not thing of staying there again or recommending it to anyone.
Location is good and beds are comfortable. Overall room was clean. Pool was heated and hot tub comfortable on a cool evening.
Continental breakfast was skimpy and not very inviting. Don't select this hotel if the breakfast amenity is important to you.
The room was clean and decent for the price.
They advertised a continental breakfast but all they had was juice and some tiny bagels. They didn't even have coffee made. The breakfast are was disappointing as well, cabinets were off hinges and sitting on the floor. Not a good impression at all. We went to McDonalds.
We had no hot water, the telephone didn't work, and there was a used towel hanging on the bar behind the bathroom door. We reported the incident and the staff took care of it. Just a slight inconvenience.
The owners were very accommodating and made sure our stay was enjoyable.
